SAP just changed enterprise AI again — and it's no longer about chatbots. What started with Joule AI assistants is becoming the SAP Autonomous Suite, powered by more than 50 domain-specific Joule agents across finance, supply chain, spend management, HR, and customer experience. This ETS brief explains why that is bigger than automation.
The agents are designed to understand business context, orchestrate workflows, make intelligent decisions, and execute actions autonomously — the move from systems of record to systems of execution. Joule Work provides the unified environment where users collaborate with AI agents, enterprise data, and workflows in real time, with agent collaboration, enterprise data integration across SAP systems, and real-time workflow execution without leaving the workspace.
With Joule Studio 2.0, enterprises can build, customize, and orchestrate agents tailored to their own operations on a secure, scalable, enterprise-ready foundation. General availability is planned for the second half of 2026.
